Mandarin Class Lessons

Lucky for me the TTC strike has been postponed. I hear they'll have talks on Thursday. My Mandarin class every Tues is going well. It really is basic, but since the stress is on oral it really is still a lot of hard work. We ended up covering the rest of the sounds after zi ci si (so zh, ch, sh, r, etc) A few of my classmates talked last week about getting together for Chinese food. There is one lady, a highschool teacher, who never eats Chinese food. Yet she is learning Chinese! This lady, Sally, is doing quite well, I was impressed on the first day she's not afraid to really try the sounds, so most of the time she gets it. Now the problem, which restaurant to go to? If anyone has a good suggestion please feel free to leave me a message or leave a comment. I need a place open after 9, that we can easily get to via the subway or walking. Sally doesn't eat seafood except fish. Nor does she eat pork. She's just as bad as Rui, if I took those two out together I have no clue what I would feed them. Mandarin is coming along slowly, I can't even pronouce Sun Qiang's name properly.
