MJ and shopping in Mong Kok

This is my first day off. Wendy's mother and husband go to play MJ on the weekends. They go to some place near Mong Kok where a group of about 14 people play. "Uncle" took me around Mong Kok to look for t-shirts to buy for my brother. There are tons of little stalls setup in this one part where so many cheap and fake goods are sold. The streets are full of people in the market, native and foreigners alike. I ended up getting one t-shirt from a vendor ($60 HKD) and a pair of white "DC" skater shoes ($200 HKD). Of course everything I got was fake and I got ripped off. What a lesson learned; I found out on the second day after I noticed my shoes were falling apart. Still it was a good day spent seeing the sights. We went to a big restaurant afterwards and I got to meet with the MJ group. They invited me out the next week which I will try to make if I can. They're an older playful bunch.
