HP's Art in Motion - Hong Kong

Friday night there was a little event in Tsim Sha Tsui hosted by HP Inter Action. Dubbed "Art in Motion". As part of their Asia Pacific tour 2007, they were traveling to multiple cities performing. I found out about the event via the social networking site Facebook and I decided to register early just to save a spot. It was free and it never hurts to have that option open in case that particular Friday night was free.
I have a close friend who moved to Sydney recently to study, but has been finding life boring there. The stop just before Hong Kong was Sydney so I forwarded the link to her and she attended the night before the event and gave me a little summary. Apparently by filling out a survey you get a nice little gift. Well, it wasn't very little, it was a big case with two boxes inside and two wireless mice. The design was very pretty though.
Originally I was going to go with Diana and Janice, but they were busy that day, and I ended up calling out Gloria and another Japanese friend, Kanae. There was a bit of communication problem between the two, but it was all good we didn't have to talk too much inside.
The feature attraction was ColdCut, a pair from the UK. Not for Gloria however, she was enthralled by the MC that night, who apparently resembled her ex-boyfriend. There was another pair of canto-rappers called Fama that was performing. Apparently, they're semi-famous themselves in Hong Kong, but the act was horrible. I was so not into canto-rap. The other Caucasians standing around me seemed pretty lost as well. Maybe if I understood the lyrics it might help, but their on stage performance seemed, well typical Hong Kong.
We left the party pretty early. Gloria headed home and I had dinner in MK with Kanae. My highlight of the night, was bringing home my two wireless mice. I have to compliment the design team on these babies.
