Happy Halloween
I'm totally captivated by this book; Tuesdays with Morrie. The book is just great, I managed to finish it by the end of the day. There are a lot of topics brought up in the book, and several of which I remember my father mentioning when he was soul searching himself. This was around the time my grandfather passed away, and when my father, himself, became ill. I hope to pass on this book to him, and of course my brother.A few more problems with United Oriental College. This is my first time having such a headache dealing with an employeer. I understand what my brother felt dealing with Dreamwave. Last week I was asked to submit reviews for each student in my class. I know for certain that these were submitted. Students have started to call me today regarding those forms, apparently they were being told that I was missing some. That is a total disregard for the truth. I stopped by the office to speak with Candy about it. Since it was Candy's last day I needed to get a number to chase down my own pay. At least this isn't as big a headache as before.
I went to see Tim Burton's Corpse Bride tonight with Joyce and Priscilla. The movie was okay, with a few funny parts. It wasn't great though, more of a renter in my opinion. I think Priscilla fell asleep somewhere in the middle of it. The musical portions weren't exactly great either. We ended the evening eating out, giving Joyce plenty of time to laugh over my horrible accent. We accompanied Priscilla to Wellcome to buy a few groceries and headed home. A nice relaxing Halloween. I just wanted to do something tonight instead of staying at home.
