Birthday at Down One

The evening with Ma Shi Te (马世特) was pretty good. After giving Jason a quick tour of Pacific and saying goodbye, we headed over to my grandmother's condo to work out. We started out with a nice twenty minute run, and I proceeded to wear him out with a proper work out routine. He met up with my parents, and I think my grandmother was happy that he could speak the Shanghai dialect. He ended up treating me to some chinese over by Finch and Don Mills and I got home pretty late.

Only to be woken up in the morning when my parents came by to help Gary move things. I did nothing really after that, except try to prepare a Windows 98 SE cd and a Windows 2000 install cd for my Uncle. Gary's friend John got ahold of me about going to a party tonight, so I made the commitment with them but headed down earlier to meet up with Rui. He had some trouble at work to report, and some good news on a potential target. I think the waitress at Hana will remember him after our night's trip. She was nice enough to teach me the meaning of 그래. I know it should be easy, but I hear it in movies and it sometimes doesn't fit the translation.

I ended up at Down One Lounge down by Church and Front St. It was R&B/Hip hop with some funk today, a good combination. I didn't know but apparently it was a birthday party. I met a lot of people and we had a good time, just chilling and playing pool. I had a surprise bumping into Brian though (the magician) which was cool, and he wowed the whole group of girls. They were nice enough to give me a ride home and now I'm beat.
