Vanessa's Junk Trip 2007

The night before the junk trip I went out to Causeway Bay to wish Jenn a happy birthday. She celebrated it with friends, many of whom I remember from her own massive junk trip a while back. Since I was out and I got a call from Diana and Ted who were out as well, we decided to meet up and I took them over to Volar in Central. On my way there I ran into Cathy on the mini-bus. She sat right behind me actually and decided to call me to see if that was really me sitting in the front. Volar has been a pain recently to get into, because of the sheer amount of people viciously pushing to get up to the bouncers. Once inside I ran into Vincent and his friends and we danced and hung out for a while. I had a pleasant surprised when two pretty girls that I know got up on the stage to dance for us. I managed to snap a picture for them.

After about an hour of sleep I grabbed my gear and headed down to Central to meet up with Maria and Vanessa. Vanessa ordered Nepalese food from a place near Soho called Lovely Corner. Mr. Sing packaged up the food nicely for us and even offered us some of his spicy tea. We jumped into a taxi and got the food down to the Central pier on time. The weather looked like pretty bad, but we got onto the boat and tried to keep our spirits up.

Actually it turned out quite well. The water was perfect for people who wanted to learn how to wake board. Sharon surprised us all by being the super star wake boarder of the group. She managed to help me fixed some of my wave jumping problems. We had a lot of competent wake boarders that day actually. Jenn, Monique, and Ricky managed to make it on board after a night of partying. They're always a lot of fun to be around. We had a little "murder" game towards the end of the trip and Jenn's cousin Danielle turned out the be the super deceptive murderer of the group. Some of us, me, were always accused of being the murderer. Even by our own loved ones.

The food was good, the company was good, and we all made a lot of new friends. I big success in my book.
