Friday
Hyun Joon forgot to take his key when he left his apartment and was thus locked out when Rui went to work. I had just stepped out after work to eat with Ricky when Rui called me. Apparently he wasn't planning to be back any time soon as he had made plans with Bernard earlier. Rick took me to see the Chinese grocery store located at Bathurst. Afterwards we met up with Hyun Joon and he ended coming back to stay at my place for the night. It was pretty interesting to see him speak with his family over MSN. His mother thanked me and his brother challenged me in Starcraft. I won 2 out of 3 games.
Saturday
I was out at scarbourgh town centre with Alison, Jesse, and Hyun Joon. Actually Alison and Jesse left for a family dinner and Hyun Joon and I stopped the GAP on my way out. I know Alison isn't fond of the GAP so I'll let her choose my black spring jacket. Jesse ended up buying more than me. Oh congradulations are in order for the Waterloo crew as most have just finished up school. We ran into Kevin Shin at guess where he was shopping with his girlfriend.
Sunday
My brother moved in. He helped me make an errand run which was a good experience. By using microsoft map point and my pda we were able to travel around to exchange my LCD monitor for another of to same model but without the dead pixels that my first one had. Same model NEC 17". I was wearing my new putty coloured jacket I had bought from the GAP the Saturday. Some one from future shop really liked my BMx sneakers and stopped me to ask all sorts of questions about where to buy them and how they feel. Time to rub it in at Rui since we always fight about Nike shox verses my skate board company shoes. We just managed to make it into Costco before it closed. For about $340 we bought a new air conditioner to prepare for this summer. It is a 9,000 Btu Danbury designer unit whatever that means. Installing it will be a nightmare I think.
Monday
Work is still busy, I almost got in trouble with being way behind dead line for the Canadian credit Notes data base. Still have taxes to do when I get home with my brother. My father faxed my previous year's information to me. Went to HoSu with Rick, Now they totally talk to me in Korean. I deposited half of the agreed price for the Toshiba E 740, I should be getting that soon.

I picked up my NEC Multisync 1700v. It is much different then my Samsung Syncmaster 700 IFT. The twinview seems kind of buggy sometimes. I'll have to play with it for a bit. but if you head over to my photo gallery I've updated the opening picture just quickly. I'll probably do it again another time because that one doesn't look that great. Had lunch at HoSu with Nellie, Veronica, and Rick. Veronica leaves next week, which is sad, she's a nice girl. One more day before the long weekend, I'll test this monitor out longer to see if I'll keep it. It came out (with an extended 4 year warrenty) to be around $667 CAD. The size difference is strange but then I've positioned the LCD further back to compenstate. Oh, time to check if there's a rebate for this.

Finally went to work out, Work is killing me, there's crazy problems just making me so tired but I made the effort to go today. Weather is still nice, but might go away later this week. Lina approached me about a 'problem', Interesting I'd better be careful of my habits Oh well, we're going out for lunch tomorrow. Even though I spent so much money I decided to go get the Mitsumi CD-RW drive at Future Shop, $50 after rebate, (52x24x52x). The main thing is that it includes Nero which means I have a valid copy now. Plus it gives me another reason to hook up my IDE controller which I bought sometime last week or the week before and still haven't bothered hooking it up. CAL has been scheduled for tomorrow night, the map is Aztec. First game on CAL-IM, wish me luck. Hopefully our webserver is backup and ready to go. Oh, on top of the future shop deal I've got reserved the NEC MultiSync LCD1700V 17" LCD monitor ($499 so about $574 for a 17" NEC).

The weather is still nice, though I was worked like a slave today. No lunch, I had to skip working out (why bother if I've not eaten all day?) I'm tired except I've got my notes db to present tomorrow. I need to work on it tonight at home. Good grief. Lucky it is a short weekend, if I get things done tonight the rest of the week should be good, except I need to have work done on the Treasury DB by Thursday.

Today the weather is finally nice aid sunny with a nice breeze.I just had a white punk girl randomly stick her tongue out at me. The plan is to go shopping with at some clothing outlets. Now that I've integrated the pda into my blog it should be easy to keep updated.
After having lunch and supper with Rick and Cat I'm spent about $ 80 just on meals. This weekend so far has keen quite extravagant. I'm riding the transit with 4 bags of clothes. We dropped by the outlets at 400 and Hwy 7. I have probably dose to $ 300 worth of new clothes with me now. I'm glad Rick and Cat spent so much time with me. I'm waiting for my mother to send me my health card so that I can get my eyes checked.

Another dinner night with Rick and Cat. So far the choices that Rick has made have been very good though, some what pricey but still word the price. I remember eating at the court house grill then eating steak the next day at the pickle barrel. Paying an extra $10 Is worth it. San Ho over at Dundas has some excellent sea food. Another favourite good spot tlut Riels has introduced me to. I had taken Veronica there once to eat. Tonight we tried the left Bank. I've run into about 3 of the CLA traders tonight. For dessert we tried the Crepe place down along Queen. They are tasty but not quite worth the charge. Too much baby silting at work for Norm (the temp). He'd better be productive on his own soon or else I'm in trouble. Thinking about the problems this past week make me angry, not really but it doesn't bring me much joy either.

It's been a while since I updated and since people are complaining I'm going to experiment by trying to update my blog on my way to work. how? On my pda of course though I'm using the transcriber feature. though not perfect the handwriting recognition has been fairly impressive. Does it save me more time than the onoscreen keyboard? Only if I don't have to correct frequently. I still need to use the onscreen keyboard occasionally to correct the transcriber and to add punctuations. But, to get on with my blog. SARS is still a fear in Toronto with about 10 peoples reported to have died. But there are dumb people who ignore the quarantine order and go to school or work but end up causing more of a problem for the school or business. Last weekend Pacific mall was almost empty.I have pictures of the inside where there is on average seven people down any one hall
way a parking lot that was maybe one third full. I did pickup a new harddrive and have since then reformatted. Windows x p has been giving me a lot of grief. This post is going to be fairly long. We managed to get a temp worker in to help move computers around. He hasn't been as
I expected and it has been quite the job to just manage him. I'm in trouble as it has put my project work behind. I attended meeting this week in regards to vPN access. It was quite tk frustrating ordeal and it drove Me to a point of near anger. This week work has been stressful. In the good side, all of my pda playing has payed off possibly. They are apparently planning to roll out pocket pcs to the investment Directors. The conversation ended up outside my look area with Henry and map talking about RIm black berries before Patrick and Jan showed up talking about a ppc roll out. A side from work I've been shopping or at browsing for new spring and summer wear. I've got or sense of direction to start with, but I'm waiting for Ali to come back. this week has been strange as well, I've been running into a lot of people I have not seen for some time ( Victoria, Fion, and Helen ). I also saw my Nuna this week. Rui has picked up a new house mate from Korea and he is helping my Korean as well. Both are part of my shopping crew. wH's Leslie has given me a good idea on how I can get my sunglasses.
